Located in Seymour, Tennessee and serving the music community since 1985, Underground Recording Studio is a basement studio and is ideal for making your next demo. The studio has four rooms and is fully equipped with instruments, however you are encouraged to bring your own. We record to a Tascam MX2424, a fantastic 24-track 24-bit digital recorder, and edit and mix with Pro Tools. We can also record to a 24-track set of 16-bit ADAT XT's with the BRC. For fans of analog recording and/or mixing we have a Tascam MSR-16 reel to reel recorder, with analog mixing to a Tascam-32  2-track reel to reel recorder . Our console is a 32-channel Soundcraft Ghost with MMA (midi-mute automation). There are 10 matching sets of Behringer headphones with separate headphone mixers. Mics include Neumann TLM 103 and TLM 193, AKG, Sennheiser, Shure, EV, Audio Technica, and Equitek. Outboard gear includes Focusrite, dbx, Ashley, Lexicon, Antares, BBE, Alesis, TC Electronics, Aphex, Fostex and Bellari. We also have a Tascam DA-30 dat machine. Video production is accomplished utilizing a variety of HD (as well as non HD if needed) cameras and tripods while editing is done with Sony Vegas.
